Predicated upon the challenges faced by our alma mater regarding educational resources to enhance learning in the Bong Mines community, Mr. Wellington Stewart Holder proposed to his fellow alumni for the establishment of a modern Resource Center, to be accessible to all students within the Bong Mines Community, free of charge.
The proposal was unanimously approved, and the Executive Committee was mandated to work on the modalities, and commencement of the project. The project is intended to encourage children/students to adapt new reading and study habits and participate in meaningful educational debates/discussions.
The Resource Center also provide a conducive learning environment that will afford students the opportunities to study peacefully, and participate in educational programs, researches, and experiment. The Resource Center offers an environment for workshops, meetings, weekly tutorial assistance, basic computer learning programs, and counseling for those in need.
