BECAA was founded to, among many core purposes, serve the needs of students, network among our membership and strategic partners, while combining our financial resources to help support the current students of the Fuamah District around Bong Mines, Liberia. Since inception, BECAA has provided financial contributions and school supplies (books, computers, notebooks, stationeries) in excess of $100,000, to help support the 800+ students. BECAA is committed to making quarterly disbursements of $1,000 to help support education through its Adopt-a-Child/Adopt-a-Teacher Program. Our lives began to change in 1990 at the start of the 14 year bloody civil war in Liberia that destroyed our families, our communities, our schools and our dreams. As the war ended, BECAA was established to help rebuild and give hope to those we left behind by providing support to schools in the area.
